Solution C uses permanent centering sleeves for dual-wheel applications. Separate sleeves provide centering points for the inner and outer wheels, while applicable configurations also center the brake drum.

HOW SOLUTION C WORKS
Two types of permanent centering components work together to center the inner and outer wheels of a dual-wheel assembly.
CENTER THE INNER ASSEMBLY
Three inner centering components are installed at approximately the 12, 4 and 8 positions on each side. For Wheel + Brake Drum kits, they center the compatible brake drum and inner wheel. For Disc Brake or Wheels Only kits, they center the inner wheel.
CENTER THE OUTER WHEEL
Three outer centering components center the outer wheel at the corresponding 12, 4 and 8 positions.
REPEAT ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE
Repeat the process on the opposite side of the drive axle. Three inner and three outer components are used on each side.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT — WHEEL + BRAKE DRUM KITS
Applies to C-5000-GAA, C-5001-GAS and C-5002-GSS. Both brake-drum dimensions are required. Brake-drum measurements are not used to select C-5003-AA, C-5004-AS or C-5005-SS.
CENTER THE COMPLETE DUAL-WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A straightforward installation process establishes three centering points at approximately 12, 4 and 8 for both the inner and outer wheels.
PREPARE THE ASSEMBLY
Remove the inner and outer wheels and clean the wheel studs. For brake-drum centering applications, release the spring brakes so the brake drum can rotate freely during centering.
INSTALL THE INNER CENTERING COMPONENTS
Slide three inner centering components down the studs at approximately 12, 4 and 8. Wheel + Brake Drum kits center the brake drum and inner wheel; Disc Brake or Wheels Only kits center the inner wheel.
INSTALL THE INNER WHEEL
Slide the inner wheel over the three centering components and seat the wheel assembly. The inner centering components must not protrude past the inner wheel's stud holes.
INSTALL THE OUTER WHEEL & COMPONENTS
Install the outer wheel. From outside the outer wheel, slide three outer centering components down the studs at the corresponding 12, 4 and 8 positions.
INSTALL & TORQUE THE LUG NUTS
Install the lug nuts over the outer centering components. Tighten in the proper sequence and to the proper torque recommended by the wheel manufacturer.
PERMANENT DRIVE-AXLE CENTERING
Solution C provides permanent centering points for dual-wheel drive-axle assemblies.
PERMANENT CENTERING
The centering components stay installed on the drive axle, maintaining established centering points for future wheel installation.
COMPLETE DUAL-WHEEL CENTERING
Three centering points are used for the inner wheel and three for the outer wheel on each side.
BRAKE-DRUM CENTERING AVAILABLE
Configurations are available to center the compatible brake drum along with the inner and outer wheels.
DISC-BRAKE / WHEELS-ONLY OPTIONS
Dedicated configurations provide permanent inner- and outer-wheel centering where brake-drum centering is not required.
STEER-AXLE DISC-BRAKE CENTERING
Solution C also includes permanent wheel-centering options for applicable steer-axle disc-brake applications.
