| Installation Guide: |
1. Jack up vehicle
until the tire is off the
ground.
2. Loosen all lugnuts
until wheel moves freely.
3. Remove the three
lugnuts at the 12, 4 and 8
o'clock
positions.
4. Clean wheel studs
thoroughly with our wire
brush
X-1755-WB (listed under
accessories).
5. Thoroughly lubricate
wheel studs and
external
sleeves with anti-seize.
6. Slide sleeves
over the wheel studs where the
lugnuts
were removed. DO NOT FORCE.
7. For DRIVE axles,
place a centering pin (our
X-1745-IP
install pin listed under
accessories
or an A-1573 pin listed under
Solution
A) at the 12 o'clock position first to
ensure
inner and outer wheels line up. Slide
the sleeves
onto the 4 and 8 o'clock
positions.
Remove the pin at the 12 o'clock
position
and slide remaining sleeve into
place.
8. Install the three
removed lugnuts on top of
the sleeves
and hand tighten.
9. Tighten all lugnuts
according to the
manufacturer's
specifications. |

This
wheel centering sleeve set is for use on steer and drive wheels as well
as most trailers. These sleeves stay on the wheel stud permanently and
are used at the 12, 4 and 8 o'clock positions. We recommend using the proper
TRU-BALANCE
centering pin tool or the installation pin when mounting on the drive axles.
One set includes six sleeves and will center one axle. (Use three sleeves
per wheel) We offer many sizes to fit most wheel configurations. Read the

It's

C-5000 Series and comes in many different
configurations including some that offer brake drum centering. These sleeves
also stay on the wheel stud permanently and both pieces are used at the
12, 4 and 8 o'clock positions. One set includes six sleeves for the inner
wheel and brake drum (if applicable) and six sleeves for the outer wheel.
